July 2010 Berlin GTUG Meeting

We had another amazing Berlin GTUG event on July 15th evening.

The event took place at Betahaus, a Berlin co-location located at Prinzessinnenstraße 19-20, 10969 Berlin.

  • Chris Chabot from Google visited us from San Francisco, and presented the newly released Google Buzz API. He will be available to do some coding and hacking with us on how to build great social apps with this new API.
  • Paul Kinlan from Google London came to the Berlin as well. He presented about HTML5 and assisted Chris on the social aspect of Buzz.
The format of this event was different from our regular Berlin GTUG. We started at 18h with Googlers Chris and Paul going through a presentation about the Google Buzz API by Chris, and an HTML5 presentation by Paul. After the presentations, we organized a mini-Hackathon where you were able to code some cool stuff with the Buzz API with the help of Chris and Paul.

Sandwiches, cakes and refreshments were provided.

More about this event will be added here soon (picts, slides, etc.)
